Do you have a mat cutter collecting dust somewhere, waiting to earn its keep helping you with your art? Want to learn how to cut your own mats to save framing costs?
Kristin will walk you through the very basics of cutting an accurate single opening mat, and a double opening mat if time allows.
Please remember to bring your own mat cutter, basic matting materials provided to practice and learn how to cut a small window from a mat.
(Please note this class will not cover all of the details about frame assembly, glass or color choices...but by the end of it, we hope you will feel more comfortable using your mat cutter and cutting a simple single opening mat.)
