Come sit in our cozy seating area and take advantage of Artists' Mediums Inc.'s reference library. 
Our customers are welcome to stop by to read and enjoy the many art books that Chelsea brought into the store from her personal library.

Several other artists have begun to bring in old art books they aren't reading that you can also read these at your leisure here in the store.

Gift Show

We are ready for the Holidays, with lots of paint, paper, canvas, local art, brushes,

and various art supplies!
We hope to help you spread creativity and joy this Holiday Season!

Artists Mediums Art shows Rules and forms

ALL Art is accepted on a first come first serve basis, and should be something that hasn't shown at Artists Mediums previously.
Our shows will usually be displayed for three months and will be centered on a theme.

We can sell your art through the store, and will now be taking a 20% commission.

Money is paid to the artists at the end of the show when artwork is picked up.

We REQUIRE (like most show locations) that you fill out and sign a Waiver of Liability, and Show TAGS for ALL of the artwork that you would like to show. Completed forms must accompany delivered artwork. Click here to print out these forms:

Drop off's and pick ups need to be made during store hours, within one week of the begining/end of each show. PLEASE understand we are primarily a retail art store, allow for extra time during drop offs and pick ups, as we cannot always accomodate a large influx of art as quickly as a professional gallery.

(Please note that we do not have storage space to store artwork outside of the show dates. Artwork left 30 days past the end date of the show will be charged a $5.00 storage fee. Artwork left over 60 days past the show end date will be donated to a local charity.)

HANGING ART:
Due to our retail environment, the artwork must be “PG,” ready to hang on the wall safely, and there are some space limitations.
(NO WIRELESS frames.)
If you have very large artwork, we can accomodate a couple pieces per show, so call to see if space is available.

CARDS:
(Per Person: 3 Designs, 3-5 of each max)
These must all be labelled with price, artist and descritpion as well.

3-D ART:
There is some space available in our glass cabinets for 3-D artwork, but that space is limited, by size and availability, feel free to call and ask if the space is full yet.

Your artwork doesn't have to be for sale, and if you do not wish to sell it, just mark it as "NFS".
(EXCEPT DURING OUR HOLIDAY GIFT SHOW, which is a show of unique items for the gift giving season, all art must be for sale during that show only.)
Bring in your art during our normal business hours, and we will try to fit it into the show!

Williston Craft Shop Hop!

October 22, 23 and 24, 2009

Thursday 10 – 8, Friday 10 – 8 and Saturday 10 – 5

At Artists' Mediums, Bead Crazy, Island Scrapbook and Northeast Fiber Arts.

Purchase a Craft Hop Passport for $15 (10% of proceeds go to the Williston Community Food Shelf) and on October 22, 23 and 24th, you can visit each of the shops at your leisure (do it all in 1 day or break it up over several). As you hop between Bead Crazy, Island Scrapbook, Artists’ Mediums and Northeast Fiber Arts in Williston, you will learn a variety of techniques while making a set of beautiful note, greeting, or holiday gift cards.

You’ll learn to make lustrous silk paper from hand-dyed tussah silk at Northeast Fiber Arts; relief carving for stamping techniques and 3-D paper pop ups at Artists’ Mediums; use the “Cricut” machine for dye cutting, embossing with “Sizzix” at Island Scrapbook, and make earrings to embellish your cards at Bead Crazy! So grab a friend or two and make it an extended “craft weekend” in Williston.

Materials at each shop sold separately. Purchasing the Passport allows you to participate in the workshops at each store, be eligible for prize drawings and special coupons at each store, donate to the Williston Community Food Shelf, and, if you visit all four shops, enter the drawing for the gorgeous grand prize basket worth over $100.00!

Discontinued Paints

20% OFF on The Griffin Fast drying oils by Winsor and Newton.

This line is being discontinued from the store, since they move slowly, and we want to make sure you are always getting the freshest possible paint .

We will still be able to get these items as

special orders.

The Griffin paints are basically a student grade oil with a dryer added, so if you need your oils to dry a little faster, you can add a speed dryer, like Liquin, or Galkyd.

In the meantime, pick these up at 20% off the usually low price, AND you can still use your coupon with them!
