M. GRAHAM WATERCOLOR DEAL

What is so special about M. Graham? Well, it’s made in the tradition fashion- with honey! The combination of  honey, gum Arabic and water creates a fluid binding medium that provides a higher pigment load for intense saturation and incredible flow.

Personally, I tend to prefer M. Graham to other brands due to the longer working time and the fact that colors stay moist on your palette for many days, even weeks. They also have some very unique colors, such as Quinacridone Rust and Azo Green.

Although they are only available in the 15ml size, they are much more economical than other artist-grade brands, such as Winsor & Newton and Holbein. Plus, they are made in America!

Metallic Sharpies!

Sharpie has come out with NEW metallic sharpie markers.
In GOLD - SILVER - and  BRONZE!

There are some of you who will rememebr that several years back, sharpie came out with gold and Silver, but the Gold didn't work so welll...this time they spent a lot more time re-developing a metallic pigment that will still go through the felt tip, but also will not settle out..so this is a much better product!

Color Magnet™

Color Magnet™ is a dye attractant that magically attracts more dye where it is applied. Use it in combination with any color, or type, of Jacquard dye. It doesn’t stiffen fabric, so the two-toned result is perfectly soft.

Color Magnet™ for Screen Printing
This thicker formulation of Color Magnet™ was made specifically for screen printing. It can also be used for stamping or stenciling. Size 16 fl oz/.47 L
Instructions:

A new look

We've made a few nice changes for the Holidays.

We moved the cash register area into the corner,

to give even more room to show off the Christmas tree and all the Local art we have on display.

It's Quite lovely.

We are getting ready for the GIFT EXHIBIT.

What is the GIFT SHOW?
We are looking for new art. (That Artists Mediums has not shown before)
Small-ish/reasonably priced works, that you think folks may want to purchase to give as gifts during the holiday season.

The rules are simple..this is a public place so keep it PG, if it isn't safe to hang, we'll refuse it...

This will be the last show, during which we will still be taking only a 20% commission.
(Begining in February 2012, we will have to start taking 30% commission.)

All art needs to have the accompanying paperwork, already filled out.
This includes your LIST of product, which also serves as a waiver of liability,
as well as a tag for each piece to identify your art.

Not your Grandmother's Canvas

Ok, well, we probably have that too ..

But the old days of canvas in sizes of only 8x10, 11x14, and 16x20 are gone!

We have a huge selection, like for example:

The Gift show is lovely!

All of us at Artists Mediums want to thank all the talented customers and friends of the store who have brought thier artwork in to make our gift show so beautiful!

I don't have room here to list all these talented folks, for we have over 70 pieces of art on our walls, and are showing the creativity of over 50 artists in this store, but I would like to mention a few of you, since I am going to show pictures of your art.
