Artists' Mediums Inc. has an opening for a part time, (approximately 30 hours a week) permanent, retail position. We are looking for someone who is willing to stay on with us for at least a year or more. We would like it if you have art experience, and love it if you have retail experience. The wages are, alas only minimum wage, but the discount on art supplies is very good, the hours are somewhat flexible, and the environment is one of creativity and inspiration. We do require that you be able to work at least two Saturdays a month. The right employee might eventually be able to move into a full-time position.
There are of course great art community networking opportunities as well. Unlike most retail positions, our customers come to us with imagination, and we have the opportunity to help them find the materials to make their ideas into a reality.
