Plutonium Spray Paint Demo!

This past Saturday (August 31, 2013) we were lucky enough to host a Plutonium Spray Paint demonstration with visiting artist Sloan (a.k.a. LIFE).
Aritsts’ Mediums provided Sloan with 40”x60” foam core panels, a 30”x60” stretched canvas and a few dozen cans of Plutonium Spray Paint. He hand-cuts his stencils from a thick paper (similar to posterboard) and then layers different colors to add depth to the intricate designs.
About Sloan ( LIFE ):  Sloan was born in Florida, but currently resides in California. He is a self-taught artist who uses DIY techniques to bring new life to the ancient craft of stenciling. Based in downtown Los Angeles, Sloan has been painting public murals since 2010. His work is focused in L.A.’s urban areas desperately in need of color, hope, and joy.
