 Spring is on it's way, and Easter comes very early this year...so get ready to learn how to decorate Ukrainian Eggs!

We are proud to announce that
Theresa Somerset will be presenting a demonstration on

 Ukrainian Egg Decorating 

From 12-2 p.m. on Saturday March 2nd.

This event is free and open to the public. Seating is limited and first-come, first serve. While the store is still open for business, we will do our best to limit distractions and noise wherever possible. Please help by turning off cell phones and pagers during the artist's presentation  No registration is required.

$70.00 per student, ages 16 and up.

Saturday December 3rd -
from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a break for lunch

 Pre-paid Sign ups required by:November 26th.

Learn a basic technique using the traditional ukrainian wax method to create beautiful holiday egg ornaments.

All materials provided to complete up to 3 egg colorings, as time allows.

Since the dyes are staining, please wear crafting clothes.

Last minute Eggs!

The store was in a bit of a flurry yesterday,
as Theresa Somerset performed a surprise Ukrainian Egg Decorating Demo briefly for WCAX channel 3 News!


Theresa was gracious as usual, and created all the different examples and stages of ukrainian egg decorating, for this unplanned event, in record time!

Kathy has been decorating eggs professionally for more than 20 years. In her demonstration she will show how these eggs are made by using a technique of waxing and dyeing, a batik process used for more than a thousand years to decorate eggs.
