Halloween!

I've always been a big fan of Halloween. We always carry a lot of fun stuff. But this year we have a great selection of Face Paint, Fabric Paint, Paints, Black foam board even glow in the dark paint as well as GLOW IN THE DARK SILLY PUTTY!.

REORGANIZING!

I have been working on re-organizing the store since last fall.

Right around the holidays, I finalized a design that I think works to do everything we wanted.

I hope everyone has a chance to come and see the changes when they are complete.
(We are getting close!)

We have the nicest customers...

I opened an e-mail today, to recieve a compliment!

"Hi,
My name is Matty and have been a long time customer of your store. As an artist I have tried all the other art supply stores in the area and have frequently found Artists Mediums to be the best and friendliest, a fact I have long appreciated. Thank you.
A friend suggested to me that I should consider "doing a class" at your store. My specialty is 25mm miniature figurine painting (Fantasy & Sci-Fi) with acrylic paints. I have been painting for 11 years and have taught several "newbies" learn the basics and intermediate skills needed for this style of art.

What a wonderful letter, of course we will be discussing this class for early next year...so keep an eye out for that...I just wanted to mention how nice our customers are.



A candy store for the most creative people in VERMONT!



There are some customers who brighten our day when they come into the store,  and I am so glad they decided to visit...So many of our Regular customers are talented and inspiring...I just want to thank you ALL!!!

At least it wasn't Stop, Drop, and Roll!

Contemplative browsing was interrupted today at the shop when the fire alarm went off, and WOW is it loud.  Nice to know it works the way it's supposed to!  As I escorted our customers out, we found ourselves congregating on the walkway with clients of the day spa next door in their smocks and bathrobes (what a day to have picked for a massage or hair coloring...)

Thanks to all the patient ladies who waited outside with me, especially to June for her good humor...we were able to finish our transaction on the front steps, my cousin Victoria for her patience as her framing order was interrupted multiple times, and to Karen Lloyd and all the folks who came in after the all clear was sounded, you were great!  (especially as we had to endure the fire alarm being reset...)


And of course, a big thank you to the Williston Fire Department (our nearby neighbors) who came out in force and investigated.  I'm not sure what the actual cause for the alarm was, but we're all glad it wasn't serious.

Next time I want to get fresh air during the day, though, I think I'll just open the window.
